PawHealth ("we", "us", or "our") is a pet health management mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
When you use PawHealth, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Email address, display name, and optional profile photo when you create an account.
- Pet Information: Pet name, species, breed, date of birth, gender, weight, microchip number, insurance details, allergies, personality, temperament, and pet photos.
- Health Records: Vaccination records, checkup notes, surgery details, bloodwork results, dental records, vet visit information, and attached photos/documents.
- Weight & Symptom Logs: Weight measurements over time, symptom descriptions with severity, body area, date/time, and photos.
- Reminders: Reminder titles, types, frequencies, due dates, and completion history.
- Vet Information: Vet clinic names, vet names, phone numbers, email addresses, and clinic addresses that you choose to save.
- Household Information: Household name and member associations for shared pet management.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the PawHealth app and its features
- Store and display your pet health records, reminders, and logs
- Send local push notifications for upcoming reminders
- Generate shareable pet profile cards (Share Cards) when you explicitly request them
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on trusted cloud infrastructure. Key security measures include:
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
- Access controls ensure users can only access their own household's data
- Secure authentication with encrypted session management
- Photos and attachments are stored with access controls
Third-Party Services
PawHealth uses trusted third-party services for secure data storage, user authentication, and push notification delivery. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Share Cards
When you create a Share Card (rental profile, sitter handover, vet summary, or emergency card), a unique access link is generated. Anyone with this link can view the shared information. Share Cards expire after 30 days by default. You can deactivate a Share Card at any time.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can:
- Delete individual pets, health records, reminders, or logs at any time within the app
- Request complete account deletion by contacting us at support@pawhealth.app
Upon account deletion, all your data — including pet profiles, health records, photos, and share cards — will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
PawHealth is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format

Changes to This Policy
